I am loving wellbutrin for my depression, and I have no sexual side effects (other antidepressants really affect that with me), and I have no food cravings and have lost weight with it. However, I am finding that my anxiety is creeping back up on me. Would the XL maybe stay in my system longer and work better? Or would a larger dose help? ive just been prescibed 150mg of wellbutrin xl .?

Before last December, my anxiety wasn't all that bad but since then I have been in an almost constant freak-out of one kind or another! My PMS/PMT is so bad that I just want to die!I can't sleep because of the anxiety/guilt attacks that get triggered by DREAMS!I am currently on Wellbutrin XL & Effexor XR. They worked well for a while but now, they are keeping the depression at bay most of the time but the Anxiety is getting so bad that I just want to die.I need to figure out a game plan before I go in and see the doctor because I have no insurance & need to have the applications for aid from the manufacturers with me or else I can't afford the medication.I have no problem printing up/bringing with applications for multiple drugs & letting the doc decide But my MAIN concern about SSRI med's is that they tend to make women TOTALLY NUMB from the "Neck Down" if you catch my drift. I've only recently really come into my sexulaity & I don't want to give it up so soon!



Anti-Anxiety & Anti-depressant Drugs with VERY few or no sexual side effects?

I've been on Paxil 37.5 mg for at least 5-8 years. The sexual side effects are horrendous, so 2 weeks ago my family dr switched me to Wellbutrin XL 150mg. The dr did not taper me off very well of the Paxil, just had me start the Wellbutrin, take one of the 37.5 Paxil with it the first day and then three days later take one 37.5 Paxil while continuing on the Wellbutri. I've been on Wellbutrin for 2 weeks now and took the last Paxil 1 week ago. I am having awful withdrawals, brain zaps, lightheadedness, just feeling weird all over in my head. I'm afraid that in the future that getting off Wellburtin will be the same way. I am thinking of quitting the Wellbutrin, since I've only been on it for 2 weeks b/c I don't want to feel this same way later on when getting of Wellbutrin in the future. My depression has been extremely minimal while on the Paxil, so I am tempted to quit the Wellbutrin and see if I will be fine without the meds. Any withdrawals from Wellbutrin after 2 wks of taking?

Which antidepressants cause the fewest sexual side effects (other than Wellbutrin XL)?

I'm currently on Lexapro and it's ruining my sex life. The only good thing is it doesn't cause weight gain. I was on paxil and zoloft and they caused weight gain. I hear wellbutrin xl isn't supposed to cause side effects sexually. what are some other good meds that don't cause sexual side effects and don't affect weight?
