What can cause shortness of breath, dry mouth and eyes, fatigue, itchy skin, abdominal cramps, & more?
I'm a 20 year old girl, these are my symptoms...please help!-Shortness of breath, feeling like I'm not getting enough air and having to take deep breaths ~every 10 minutes-Extreme thirst-Extreme fatigue-Balance problems-Ringing in my ears-Eye floaters-Most of the time they are in my right eye, and when I close my eyes when I'm having them I see flashes of light like a camera flash just went off.-Terry's nails--there is a red or brown arc on the tip and they are very white until halfway down the nail and the bottom half appears normalThe shortness of breath started about two months ago. I'm on Wellbutrin, only 200mg a day for depression. I was seeing a doctor at school, we did a CBC, pulmonary function, and a lung x-ray, all of which were normal except my hematocrit was 36%. The doctor decided it was a side effect of the depression or the prozac that I WAS on, but I haven't been depressed for months and have been off the prozac for 3 weeks, and no improvement. All of the other symptoms have showed up in the last 2-3 weeks. I went to a new doctor and basically we are doing an MRI to make sure nothing is wrong in my brain before we say it's just from my medication, but I know my body and I'm certain it's not. What could cause this combination of symptoms?
What can cause eye floaters, shortness of breath, and some other symptoms?
I'm a 20 year old girl, these are my symptoms...please help!-Shortness of breath, feeling like I'm not getting enough air and having to take deep breaths ~every 10 minutes-Extreme thirst-Extreme fatigue-Balance problems-Ringing in my ears-A VERY droopy eyelid (it usually droops but has gotten much worse over the past couple of weeks)-Terry's nailsThe shortness of breath started about two months ago. I'm on Wellbutrin, only 200mg a day for depression. I was seeing a doctor at school, we did a CBC, pulmonary function, and a lung x-ray, all of which were normal except my hematocrit was 36%. The doctor decided it was a side effect of the depression or the prozac that I WAS on, but I haven't been depressed for months and have been off the prozac for 2.5 weeks, and no improvement. All of the other symptoms have showed up in the last 2-3 weeks. I went to a new doctor who has ordered more blood and urine work, but we haven't found an answer yet, and I was hoping for some more ideas about what might be causing this.
What could be causing all of these symptoms? Short of breath, thirst, poor balance, droopy eye, Terry's nails?
I have obsessive anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder. I have been on Paxil (40mg) one pill every morning and Ativan (1mg) one pill before bed for two months now and it has helped me immensley. I have been more upbeat, a lot less irritable, I dont think or worry too much. I am where I want to be. I have gotten use to the tiredness, now its just a little fatigue. The side effect I did not like is that I am unable to orgasm, yet erections aren't a problem. This is both frustrating for me as well as for my fiance. I asked my psychiatrist what can be done and he prescribed me 150mg of Wellbutrin one pill every morning and Ativan (1mg) one pill every morning and one before bed . He didn't even have me weened off of Paxil. This was two days ago. I'm now on day two of taking my new medications.Today at work I started a severe anxiety attack. I wasn't even sure if I was dreaming or if I was dead and didn't know it. I was depressed and felt like crying, and axtually did a couple times. I also have been very shaky and unable to concentrate. Is this reaction from quitting Paxil cold turkey or is this from taking Wellbutrin? I'm asking right now because I'm having trouble contacting my psychiatrist. Please please help. I had to take another dose of Wellbutrin and Ativan just to try to calm down (which it did help a little). The attack has since faded. My first dose was at 8am, and that 2nd dose was at 2pm, it is now 5:30 and the shakes finally stopped but I still feel lonely and feel like crying. I'm pretty sure Im not dreaming or dead...My boss, sister and my cowerker convinced me of that...and they gave me a lecture about taking that 2nd dose :PANY help is appreciated. Thank you so much in advance. As far as sarcastic comments about checking with my doc first, i plan on doing that ASAP. I'm on here in the meantime just in case my doc isn't doing this correctly.
From paxil straight to Wellbutrin....advice please!?
I just posted a question this morning about having depression and not knowing it. My doctor seems to think that I have depression and just don't know it. I have been severely fatigued and just feel horrible. I have had all types of blood work done and everything comes back normal (thyroid, iron, blood cell count, cholesterol, everything!) I eat very healthy and exercise, so I know that is not an issue. I was reading some info on this medication and everyone started out on 150 mg. My doctor started me out on 300 mg once daily. Does that sound right? I really like my doctor. My husband and I have been seeing him for years and never had any problems. The doctor said he is just trying a process of elimination, but 300 mg sounds like a lot to me for something he doesn't even know I have. Has anyone else started out at this dosage? I have never taken any medications like this before, and have never had a history of depression. If you have any additional info or experiences with this pill, I would love your input. Thanks!
Doctor starting me out on Wellbutrin 300 mg?
I was taking Prozac, will wellbutrin help with anxiety?I have having problems with anxiety and fatigue.
Dr. Prescribed wellbutrin?
I have been taking Celexa, Wellbutrin and Ambien for years with no problem. In October I added Phentramine for weight loss. So far they have been great. The only side effect has been low appetite. Just last week my gyn started me on Spironolactane and Metformin, both for PCOS. He told me to take them consistantly for results. The pharmacist said there were no problems. Same with online resources. However, I have been very fatigued and sick to my stomach. I generally have a VERY strong stomach. Everything I eat makes me sick. Any thoughts?
Are my medications making me sick?

I've had a phase for about 7 or 8 months now where I've been non-functionally tired (walking across the room is a daunting task), and I've been chasing the reason the entire time with doctors and psychiatrists without success. It began about the 3rd week I was on Zoloft (50mg), when I had a pretty bad hot flash after playing squash very hard for an hour. After that, falling asleep became almost impossible - the farther I drifted into sleep, my body felt more uncomfortable, almost buzzing and vibrating internally with panic. I would wake up in sweats and panics 3-4 times a night. Ever since then, my consciousness has been like someone who is dreaming or drunk. It is very shallow, fuzzy and limited. So for about 6 months, I was on 2-4 hours of sleep a night, which would obviously knock me about. My vision decreased, my energy was nonexistent, my muscles felt incredibly weakened, and depression started to set in. I could not (and still can't) enjoy anything, and I do things now purely out of habit or necessity, not motivation or in pursuit of happiness. About a month ago, my sleep corrected itself. I can now get 7-9 hours of sleep a night, mostly uninterrupted. I am off all medications now (was on Cymbalta, Wellbutrin and Risperidone, none of which helped), but my fatigue seems to be only getting worse. Some suggestions from doctors are: depression/panic disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome, sleep apnea (ruled out by sleep study), MS (ruled out by MRI). What is happening to me?
Why am I so tired all the time?
I started wellbutrin xl 150 a month ago, I received the generic budeprion xl by Teva. This is the generic that seemed to be causing the most problems from my research. I feel okay but am having severe eye fatigue and am very sensitive to light to the point that I was wearing sunglasses at work because of the lights and spending a long time at the computer. Has anyone had this as a side effect on brand or generic? Was there a difference in generics? I just switched to an Actavis generic to see if that is better as the price is high to try the brand.
