Lexapro VS Wellbutrin XL?

i just switched from name brand lexapro to generic wellbutrin xl, my doc said it should successfully help me lose my last 20 lbs. i've been holding onto for like 5 years. has anyone else out there had any success with wellbutrin xl (generic). i want your likes and dislikes, time frames, all the info you have on the drug, cause i feel really confident about losing this weight and i want to make sure i'm just not fooling myself, thanks



Lexapro VS Wellbutrin XL?

I have been taking Wellbutrin XL (the brand name version) for anxiety for several years. However, my insurance changed and now the price difference between the brand and generic (bupropion hcl) is huge. My doctor said he can't guarantee the same results since only the active ingredient is the same and other ingredients can be different. I wanted to know if anyone has made this switch and if they've noticed any differences.



Experience switching from Wellbutrin XL to generic?

I have taken the original generic, put out by Watson laboratories. It looks and works the same. Now they are dispensing "BudeprionXL" by another manufacturer. They are large, uncoated tablets with a chemical adjustment in the name. I am hesitant. Any experiences with this med? WIll it really work the same?Jim B. I did all of those things already. I am looking for someone with personal experience of taking the new drug. I know the other information on paper and via the pharmacist.

I've been going through depression for almost 3 years. I've tried teas, st johns wart, acupuncture, therapy...everything. none of it worked.I am now taking Wellbutrin XL generic name Budeprion X. just began taking it...doesn't work yet.. this is my last hope. I can barely get out of bed, get my school work done, shower or anything. Do these meds really f*ck up your brain? I don't want to be unhealthy;

Ever since I started taking generic Wellbutrin (Budeprion XL), things aren't the same as when I was taking the brand name. I even read that the FDA is investigating the pharmaceutical company that makes Budeprion (it's Israel based TEVA). And the pills for the generic kind are HUGE. I don't like it. I won't fuckin' put up with this shit. I want name brand WELLBUTRIN XL 150 and Lexapro 10 mg, and Ativan 0.5 mg.

(Wellbutrin XL) If so, why are there two generic names for it?I ask because previously I had been on 300mg bupropion and my doctor upped the dose by 150mg and when I went to the pharmacy to pick it up they gave me 150mg budeprion. What is the difference between Bupropion and Budeprion?

I've recently been switched from name brand Wellbutrin XL to generic. I've been takeing a generic from the manufacturer Teva, and it does not work, plain and simple. I checked it out online, and turns out many other people experience the same issue...the return of depression. Now my ins co. switched from Teva to the Anchen brand. I can't find anything on them online. Has anyone had any bad experiences with this companies brand of Wellbutrin? I can't take it if it's like Teva's
