Wellbutrin and Lexapro?

Since I was about 17 (23 now), I had started taking anti-depressants and occasionally anti-anxiety medications. I have tried Lexapro, Wellbutrin and Prozac. I have used them individually and together. I had taken them in low doses, and high. Nothing seemed to help, even with alterations to the schedule in which I took them. I stopped taking the meds when I ran out about a year or so ago, and have not gotten back on. I feel as though my body just does not have a positive reaction to these meds. With the Lexapro and Wellbutrin (both when taken together and individually), I had very bad reactions, in that I felt horrible "electric shocks", horrible anxiety and had severe moods swings. I was weaned off of those and began taking Prozac (starting with 20mg and graduating to 60mg/daily) for over a year to no avail. It is possible that my body just does not acknowledge the fact that I'm taking them? Is it possible to have a resistance to them?I am quite small (just over 5 feet tall and about 100 lbs.), but I have an extemely high tolerance for what seems to be all medications - OTC and Rx. I had ovarian cysts that grew to the size of baseballs and chronic migraines, and yet when administered Morphine, Tordol (sp?), or any other pain killer - narcotic or not - I feel no sense of relief...



Was I misdiagnosed? Tolerance/resistance to meds...?

I have been suffering from depression since I was 13. I've been on a lot of meds (Prozac, Effexor, Wellbutrin, Lexapro, etc). The only one I found to work was name brand Prozac but now I cant afford it (no insurance). I was put on Cymbalta a week and a half ago (starting at 30 mg and now I've moved up to 60 mg). So far Im doing well. The doctor mentioned putting me on Trazadone also for depression, along with Cymbalta. I was wondering if anyone is taking these two meds together also and how well is it working? Any side effects?



Is this a good medicine mixture?

I have been on zoloft for 7 years now, and the zoloft is not helping all I feel is the side effects.

Can wellbutrin and lexapro be used together?

I asked my psych doc for something to help me lose weight....Phentermine. I am already on Lexapro and Wellbutrin. I asked him if it was safe to mix these meds and he said yes, but I have seen some stuff on the internet that contradicts that. Is anyone out there on this combo and if so, how is it working out for you? Today is my first day taking the Phentermine and I feel really weird.



Phentermine, Lexapro and Wellbutrin...together?

I am now taking Lexapro, 20mg/day. Still depressed, and looking for a new cocktail, a Dr in our family has recommended Lexapro together with Cymbalta, although other Drs have said just use one or the other. Also Wellbutrin, considering taking it with either Lexapro or Cymbalta ... any relevent knowledge or experience appreciated...thanks.

Has anyone taken Lexapro and Wellbutrin together? I have chronic fatigue syndrome and severe anxiety, and my doctor said Lexapro often cures chronic fatigue syndrome. I have allready been on Wellbutrin for the anxiety. Any feedback would be great!!
