How long will my Wellbutrin withdrawal symptoms last ...

I've been on 75mg of Wellbutrin (Bupropion) for about 8 months. I understand this is the lowest dose that is usually prescribed. Anyway, I'm trying to withdraw by taking half a pill (37.5mg) each day instead, but I have this headache ...

i have been on prozac since march 2 dr been playing with the dose 30 mg seems the most i can take he aalso?

I am taking Pristiq 50mg once a day, and i have taken it for about a year. It really helps, however I've noticed that whenever I miss two doses I get these pulses of electrical current throughout my body and eventually I start to feel sick from it. I asked a pharmacist about it and he said I shouldn't be getting any withdrawals from it as it is a low dose, but the only time I get these pulses is after I have missed two doses, so that is the only thing I have been able to narrow it down to. I also used to take Wellbutrin XL about 6 years ago, but stopped because my family said that I was forgetting things more than usual. This same thing happened after missing 2 doses of Wellbutrin XL except the pulses were more intense and I felt really really out of it.I looked at the molecular structures of both Pristiq and Wellbutrin XL (to see if there might be a similarity), but the only thing I could find was that they both have and amino on them (however one has a tert-butyl and the other just two methyl groups attached).Otherwise Wellbutrin is named as a ketone and Pristiq as an ROH, I would say that the benzene rings are similar, but one has a halide and the other has a hydroxyl group attached, which is a significant difference.I realize that Pristiq is new and that they really don't know a lot about the mechanism of antidepressants anyways; and that I am asking for a lot in regards to structure, but I really would appreciate any help that I could get, as this time I have only missed one dose and I am already starting to feel the pulsing of electrical current through my body. If I have to I will call and ask my doctor, but I like to try and research it myself if I canAny research article suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks for your time and input!

okay ever since i have been on wellbutrin my acne problem has turned into a severe acne problem. not just on my face, but down both sides of my neck and chest. it is causing my "depression" to turn into "suicidal idealization" if I can say the very least.I have been taking buspar daily for the past 7-8 weeks...and i dont know if it does anything... probably not.well ever since i got on the wellbutrin my acne problem has freakin exploded into a severe disgusting problem.and now that it's trickling down my neck i am just done.i didnt even relate it to wellbutrin until i realized it was 4:30 and i hadn't taken my wellbutrin yet! (i cant take it after 2pm) and i thought, oh well i'll take it tomorrow. i have been on wellbutrin for maybe 22-23 days... anyways. i didnt even relate the two until i started staring in the mirror and i thought wtf you have never had acne on your neck this is really strange.so i started researching it and sure enough a bunch of people get acne from wellbutrin.so i'm going to withdrawal from it.i cant see my doctor for 2 months and you got me messed up thinkin im gonna wait 2 months and see how much worse my skin gets.now. what will happen if i just stop? should i take a half a pill for a couple days?meh i dont really care...im just gonna stop cold turkey.i did do this one time on lexapro or something like it maybe 2 years ago and passed out or had a seizure or something, nobody really knows cuz they found me on the floor but i just wanna know how severe a low dose wellbutrin withdrwal is. im on 75 mg. my body is hyper sensitive to medication (obviously, you see the acne problem, and previous withdrewal) besides im having heart palpitations and anxiety.i just want some advice about doing this.dont tell me to consult my doctor because i cant okay.and i think im just gonna stop the buspar too.tell me what you think party people.thanksoops this wa s the original. i didnt mean to post it twice muh bad

antidepressant self withdrawal PLEASE HELP!?

This is lengthy. Three days ago I started having difficulty breathing. It felt like I was breathing in hot air, and breathing out hot air. I couldn't get a satisfying or refreshing breath. Then I started getting an anxiety attack because I couldn't breathe. I don't know if this is related to the fact that I stopped taking Wellbutrin cold turkey three weeks ago, and maybe the withdrawal effects are just now catching up. I went to Urgent Care today because I still couldn't breathe, and they said my O2 was 99%, I didn't have a fever, and my chest x-ray was clear, as well as my lung sounds. Obviously I'm getting enough oxygen. I do get light headed when I stand up... I have to stop, take a deep breath, hold on to something, and then walk again. I feel like I can breathe better when I lay down, as well as at night when the air is cool. I tried Maalox and it didn't help. I tried a breathing treatment with Albuterol, but it didn't help. I started taking the Wellbutrin again three days ago when I first started noticing the symptoms. Hopefully it will kick in again and relieve these problems. I'm scared I have something seriously wrong with me, like HIV or cancer, because I am extremely fatigued, zero energy, just don't feel good, and can't catch a breath. I don't have swollen nodes, not running a fever, don't have a cough... nothing! But I just can't breathe! Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have any ideas as to the cause of this? Thanks!!!

Why can't I breathe, or get a satisfying breath?

... can you access these resources to quit smoking? There's a lot of BS on all State government websites, all tying the interested person in literature information and basic nonsense plans. Where can you get REAL help, such as nicotine patches, such as medication like Wellbutrin that helps lessen the withdrawal symptoms? Who do you contact for help in accessing resources? I have spent hours online going from site to site and there is nothing concrete anywhere. Who do you need to call? Thanks,Washington State won't send it to me down here! and Florida is known for its shady practices. I have been online two hours and cannot access anything. The money must have gone to upgrading Senator's laptops so they can access porn while the Legislature is in session! They get so bored, you know.

The tobacco industry paid millions of dollars in a lawsuit against smoking that went to state funds... where..?

I went to the ER last night bc for about an hour I had this ring of light showing up in my right eye and whatever I was looking at became blurry and shaky. They said it was most likely a migraine. I didn't know migraines were this serious! I asked them if it was the wellbutrin I was just prescribed and he said no. This morning I still have eye floaters and remembered I haven't had coffee in a few days. Could it be from no coffee?

Can caffeine withdrawal cause migraines in someone who has never had migrainesi?

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to take to help me sleep with Wellbutrin? I don't want anything with addictive potential, or withdrawal symptoms - preferably not associated with weight gain either.I'm experimenting with melatonin right now. 1 mg helps me to get to sleep, but I wake up super early (like before 6 am) no matter what time I get to sleep. It doesn't affect my energy levels during the day at all - I am super active, but I don't know about the long-term effects of only getting 5 hours of sleep a night even tho the anti-depressant is helping me to feel awake. 3 mg of melatonin is proving to be way too much, I am slowed down and drowsy the whole next day. Perhaps I should try to find 2 mg but they're not locally available - I might just order online.Just wanted to see what suggestions there might be.

What sleep aid should I take with Wellbutrin?

Ok, Long story but I'll try to make this quick. I was diagnosed with severe depression over two years ago and I've only gotten worse. Since then I've been diagnosed with adhd, learning disorders (nos), agoraphobia and depression w/ psychotic features b/c i get panic attacks in crowds and began to hear voices outside of my head. I've had some doctors also (not officially) diagnose me schizophrenic, bipolar and ptsd. Right now I'm on 300mg of effexor xr, have been for a year now and it does not work at all, just makes me sleep. I can sleep for up to 72 hrs without waking up. b/c of that sometimes i miss doses and end up having really vivid nightmares and following psychotic episodes. (crying, mania, paranoia, unresponsiveness, etc.) So recently I went to the er and they wanted to start tapering me off my effexor to 225 and they want to add 25mg of Lamictal & 40mg of Geodon daily. My doc failed to tell me all the side effects of these medicines, so now im freaked out. Sudden death? GAH! they're really pushing to hospitalize me too, but im no harm to myself or others. They claim they just want to watch me for side effects b/c my effexor withdrawal will be serious. I've been on so many meds (prozac, lexapro, vyvanse, methylphenidate/ritalin, risperdal, wellbutrin, abilify,..... every single one gave me serious side effects.) What do you think, are they overmedicating me or should I take the leap? I hate to think that my depression is working towards 3 years of ruining my life. (I'm only 19 btw.) Thanks.

I need a second opinion on my new psych drugs?

I'm just going to try and make this short. Two month ago I was under a lot of stress. I had a panic attack and I felt my emotions shutdown. Everything felt different. A major depression hit me and the doctors put me on a antipsychotic and a mood stabilizer. They didn't know what was wrong with me. I had a very bad allergic reaction to one of them and had to stop few weeks past I told myself I was going to beat this on my own without med's. Started to change my look from negative to positive. Felt better but still I was scared and panic about the numbness. Doctor then gave me Wellbutrin and Lexapro. Very big mistake had a very bad reaction. Two panic attack hit me a day. now I alway had panic attack in the past nothing every like this. I started to feel unreal, then the feeling of not nothing who I was and then all these crazy fears and thoughts took over. Been like that since. Been having headache, very bad ones like stabbing pain and pressure everyday for the past two months. just stop taking a Benzo a week ago was helping but it I didn't want to get hooked like my aunt, I seen what they can do to the body after years of taking them. But I felt Withdrawals I threw up for no reason and now I see spot when I go outside or looking at my computer screen. That scare me. But it all come down to the DP. I trying to stay positive and not treat it as a illness. But it makes you believe in insane stuff. and really tears you down inside. I need to see a doctor, never got these problem check out. I know I had a hormone problem when I was a young kid, maybe I should check that out?

Depersonalization and health issues?

I take a total of 400mg daily
