If I didn't know any better, I would say that I'm pregnant. Considering the fact that I've been on birth control for two years and i've never had sex and unless I'm the nextvirgin Mary, I'm definitely not pregnant.Last Sunday I started the birthday control Seasonique. I had been taking Yaz for a year and Yazmin for a year, and because of insane headaches, switched to Seasonique.For about two months, I have been steadily gaining weight. I only eat around 1,200 to 1,500 calories a day and exercise regularly. My weight gain gas ALL been in my stomach. I now have a distended, round tummy, and compared to my small stature, I look like I am 4 or 5 months pregnant. You can see my spine, and yet, my stomach sticks out like I will kick out a kid in a few months. I have also been alternately nauseous and craving food as well, but I fight it because I have been fighting the weight gain. Lately, I have cut back more food and have gained even more weight.Let me preface this by saying NO, my body is NOT in starvation mode. I am 5'3" and my BMR is only something like 1,300 calories a day, without exercise. It isn't much more with the small amount of exercise I do a week.My clothing still fits, but that's because my weight gain has literally ONLY been in my stomach and my pants are low cut enough to cling under my weight gain.I recently had blood tests reveal that I have elevated prolactin levels. After retesting, we decided not to do an MRI because it is most likely an effect from the Wellbutrin I've been taking for half a year. So we highly doubt it's a prolactinoma.Since I've started taking Seasonique, I've been unbelievably moody, etc. Seriously, I feel like I'm pregnant. And I seriously doubt it's a hysterical pregnancy.One last thing: My thyroid has been checked four times, and it is PERFECT.What's going on?Edit: Um, excuse me for the extremely RUDE comment. I have polycystic ovarian disease. Try researching and consider the fact that people need birth control for reasons other than getting pregnant. If you decide to look past your own nose and research it, I most likely can't even have children on my own. Thanks for being ridiculous.



What is going on with my body?!?

please help i have severe depression AND anxiety. i also have chronic stomach pains that never seem to go away. i'm getting on a med tomorrow. i am looking for an SSRI. i do not want to gain weight. most antidepressants seem to slow down your metabolism. wellbutrin speeds up metabolism and i would go with that except it causes seizures in a lot of patients. what is a med that wont make me gain weight. a lot of physc meds also cause loss of libio i dont want that either. also i dont want my skin to break out. what is the best antidepressant with lowest side effects that will make u loose weight vs/ gain or do nothing at all. please helpbesides exercise asshole. i already do that.

A friend of mine took three or four to try to get rid of some stress and depression. She's got a stomach ache and nausea, with one brief moment of blurred vision. We can't afford a trip to the hostipal, so is there anything we can do to flush it out of her system (aside from vomiting, if at all possible) or do we wait for it to pass?



Is there some kind of household cure for a minor overdose on Wellbutrin?

I was prescribed Wellbutrin SR 100 mg for depression. I experienced mild drowsiness the first 3 days, which disappeared. And I had to take it after a meal since otherwise it would cause an upset stomach, but then again I was diagnosed with H. pylori (a bacteria that causes gastritis) and am still on prescription antacids. So that could just make me more susceptible to an upset stomach anyway. I was able to sleep just fine. I noticed only a subtle change in mood, and they thought they would increase my dosage since I seemed to tolerate it just fine. So they switched me to Wellbutrin XL 150 mg. I was going to take it this morning. But today I woke up at 4 am (after going to bed at 12:30 am) and am feeling this crazy boost of energy and feel way too focused or something (maybe like the effects of adderall)? Should I just stay on the 100 mg for today and possibly for the rest of the weekend? If I can get a hold of my psychiatrist, I'll talk to her in a few hours about it.Anyone have any experiences on Wellbutrin SR and XL that they want to share?

I have been on Prozac 40mg for about 10 years now for anxiety/ severe depression. Recently, my Prozac hasn't been working as well as it used to, and my Dr. added Wellbutrin 100mg 2x a day, then after 2 weeks I'm supposed to increase it to100mg 3x a day. I just started it a few days ago, and the side effects are hard to deal with (headaches, stomach problems), but I keep reading that they will go away with time, and it is worth it to stick it out. Has anyone had success with this medicine combination?



Prozac and Wellbutrin: Good combination?

I been feeling numb emotionally for a month, Doctor told me it was a major depression. I thought it could be depersonalization.well in the past couple of weeks, I could focus and workout a little better then when this first hit me. Well I just started wellbutrin three days ago and all hell break free. I been feeling more zombie like where I can't even focus my thoughts. very bad stomach cramps, low hours of sleep. feeling more depressed and hopeless. But it sky rocket my anxiety out of the roof. I been having two to three panic attacks a day. Then I started to know a different in how everything seem. I started to question what is real or am I real, because I feel so burnout and disconnect from my emotion. I start to question who I am. I told my doctor about the feeling unreal and he took me off it but told me I don't have depersonalization. So he gave me lexapro to help reduce the anxiety. I just asking how long does it take for wellbutrin to leave my system, took it for two days and that I if I should start taking this lexapro, while feeling so burnout and disconnect. Because I don't know how much more of this I can take I feel dead almost. no joy no sadness, nothing and I'm losing touch with myself. really scared me



Has Wellbutrin cause me to have depersonalization?

I just started taking Wellbutrin But it making me feel more crazy then I was before I started. see I guess I went into a major depression and all my emotions shutdown. So my anxiety has been very high for a month. but the past two days I've been feeling even more zombie like and my anxiety has sky rocket like I have ever felt before. I been getting crazy thought about what is real and what is not and I feel like I'm disappearing inside. Been having very bad stomach cramps and can't sleep well. But now I'm starting to think about death more and more now and that really scared me into another panic attack. I told my doctor today about the increase int he anxiety so he took me off of it and switch me to lexapro. I'm so scared that I'm losing my mind and death is the only way out!!!!!!!!!!!



Need help, don't know what to do.?

I'm In a major depression, that what they tell me. Have very bad emotional numbness and feel zoned out, just started taking wellbutrin, had a bad panic attack that night, stop taking it woke up next day feeling very heavy, hopelessness and tired and bad stomach cramps. had another panic attack. now feel burned out. Should I take this pill again and has anyone felt burnout with depression before, feeling like a robot?



Are these feeling to do with depression or something else?

Should I stop taking this drug?

I have been taking Celexa, Wellbutrin and Ambien for years with no problem. In October I added Phentramine for weight loss. So far they have been great. The only side effect has been low appetite. Just last week my gyn started me on Spironolactane and Metformin, both for PCOS. He told me to take them consistantly for results. The pharmacist said there were no problems. Same with online resources. However, I have been very fatigued and sick to my stomach. I generally have a VERY strong stomach. Everything I eat makes me sick. Any thoughts?
