How do I become familiar with this medication list?

i have horrible anxiety and panic attacks, i have for several years but for some reason its gotten unbearable the last couple weeks. i am anxious every second of the day, i'm constantly fighting this feeling like i am losing my mind, or gonna lose it. its horrible and i don't know how much more i can take. i've never been so down and i find i have to cry just to relieve the pressure i feel inside my own brain, i know this sounds odd, i think others with anxiety would know exactly what i mean. anyways, i've been on paxil for a long time but i think its hit a plateau from the way i feel so the doc told me to continue taking it he prescribed 300 mg of wellbutrin on top of it and 5 mg of zyprexa. i haven't taken the zeprexa yet, i'm terrified, i don't want to sleep all day and become a zombie. i just want a CLEAR head and want to get my life back. i would like some advice from people who are on it. should i try it?

PLEASE HELP, people who have used zyprexa?

Zyprexa, PLEASE HELP?

I've been taking an anti-depressant and Wellbutrin and an anti-psychotic for about 9 years now. I gained a ton of weight due to the Zyprexa. My ex thinks I'm addicted to Zyprexa. My dr tried switching me to other anti-psychotics and none worked. I do take Xanax for panic attacks. I'm overly medicated, I think. I want to go off Zyprexa and all anti-psychotics completely but, I don't know if Prozac and Wellbutrin by themselves would be enough. I have awful anxiety. My depression isn't as bad as my anxiety. I was taking Zoloft for 3 months but I was so constipated.

Is Prozac and Wellbutrin enough?

I constantly feel like something I have done in my life is going to kill me, and I constantly feel like I am going to die soon from something. I am afraid that I have taken too much medication in my life and it is going to catch up to me. I have taken over about twenty different drugs that are for psychiatric problems in the past. Not to mention I have taken about twenty for medical problems in the past. I didn't take all of these at the same time, and I took most of them a decent time apart. I am so afraid I may have done damage tomy brain. However about four months ago I had multiple tests on my heart and a scan of my brain to see if everything was okay. Nothing came back positive for problems. I got off of my anti-depressant about a month ago and the withdrawals have almost completely stopped. Can anyone shed some light on what's going on with me and if I am going to die soon? If I am going to die soon I would like to see all of my family and friends and tell them goodbye and that I love them.Drugs I have been on that I can think of:1. Sereoquil (A few times)2. Vistaril (For a couple of months)3. Paxil (Three years)4. Wellbutrin (Once)5. Prozac (two weeks)6. Depakote (Three months)7. Gabitril (Four months)8. Phenobarbitol (Four times)9. Ativan (three weeks)10. Klonopin (four months)11. Zyprexa (three months)12. Propanalol (three months)13. Verapamil (one month)14. Aspirin (a few times)15. Tylenol (periodically for pain)16. Marijuana (Few times)17. Embalming fluid (once)18. Omeprazol (month)19. Pepto Bismal (periodically)20. Mylanta (periodically)21. Torodal (once)22. Vicodin (two weeks)23. Folic Acid (six months)24. Benedryll (periodically)25. Claritin (week)26. Zyrtec (few times)27. Dymatap (few times)28. Ibuprofen (periodically)29. Abilify (a few times)30. Trazadone (few times)31. Alcohol (twice)32. Nicotine (three years)33. Uni-daily vitamenThat's about all I can think of for now. I would just like to say the only things I am taking now are over the counter tylenol and perscription omeprazol. Do you think doing all these medications over my life time would have a physical detrimental impact on my health.

How do I cope with feelings of impending doom?

I have a complex mix of disorders that my doctors are finding difficult to treat (Tourette's, OCD, anxiety/panic attacks, depression/possibly bipolar/they can't decide due to all my other symptoms). SSRIs had no noticeable effect (I've tried Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro & Prozac), antipsychotics are a big no due to cognitive side effects (Haldol, Seroquel, Zyprexa, Orap), Effexor and Remeron leveled out quickly even at top doses (and Effexor makes me hallucinate), and Wellbutrin worked okay but makes Tourette's tics difficult to manage. For those of you that didn't respond to SSRIs, what actually worked for you?I've tried benzos as well. Xanax works great for anxiety (and Tourette's), I took it previously for a couple of years alongside a few other meds. I'm in a new country now though, and they don't want to prescribe them longterm, so it's not an option.I've been off meds completely for 1.5 years, and I'm doing badly which is why the doctors want to put me back on something.. they just don't know what to try. Depression and agoraphobia is currently so severe I haven't left home in 3 months except to go to the doctor. My father died recently (taking care of him meant giving up my job as well), which leaves me back in a new country without a job and knowing no one.. but I don't have support elsewhere anyway so it doesn't matter where I am. I've done yoga and meditation for many years to help manage Tourette's, but right now something more is needed.

For those that don't respond to SSRIs, which antidepressant works best?

What are the drug interactions among Zyprexa, Olcadil, Mantidan and Wellbutrin?

My question is for people that have responded really well to bupropion (Wellbutrin) for depression. I used to take it, and it's the only med that's ever really helped, but it's also a stimulant and exacerbates Tourette's tics to a painful point. I've been previously diagnosed with Tourette's (comorbid with OCD, depression and anxiety) and BPD, but treatment has always focused on Tourette's and anxiety.SSRIs have no effect on me, and I need to avoid anything that makes anxiety worse. In the past, I've already tried: Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, Prozac, Effexor, Remeron, Haldol, Orap, Zyprexa, Risperdal, Seroquel. I'm seeing a psychiatrist, but I'm in a new country and the process is very slow, so I thought I would do some research on my own. What other meds have you had a positive response to, if you responded positively to Wellbutrin?

Similar medications to bupropion (Wellbutrin/Zyban)?

I'm 20, been depressed/anxious my entire life, diagnosed with Bipolar when I was 12. Seen upwards of 7 psychiatrists, 5 psychologists (DBT, CBT, etc). Diagnosed with Treatment Resistant Bipolar 1 Rapid Cycling Not Otherwise Specified. Lithium's pretty good with the mania but nothing has ever been able to treat the depression. It's taken over my life and I just want hope that one day this illness will not dictate everything I do. My doctors are just blindly guessing at this point and a lot of them will just decline to treat me because they don't know what to do.Here is what I am taking currently:LithiumLamictalAbilifyKlonopinN Acetyl CysteineHere's what I've taken in the past: Zoloft, Trazodone, Zyprexa, Neurontin, Inositol, Depakote, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Lithium, Xanax, Valium, Seroquel, Lamictal, Lorazepam, Prozac, Ambien, Strattera, Lunesta, Melatonin, Abilify, Cytomel, Cymbalta, Provigil, Fish Oil, Effexor, Lexapro, Buspar, Rozarem, Geodon, EmsamI try so hard to fight this. I'm educated, knowledgeable, read books and medical papers about anything relating to my illness. I want to be better; there are periods when I think I am but then I cycle back down. There is just something messed up in my brain and I don't know what it is.Can anyone give me any kind of hope? Has anyone been through this? Does anyone know of something that could help me? I want to be able to go to school and have friends and get out of bed. I'm smart, I'm creative, I work hard, but the only thing that I ever get to talk or think about is medication. Please don't tell me to go off my medication, I've tried that and it doesn't have good results. I need SOMETHING. I'm willing to give you copies of my med records, lab work, detailed accounts of my history, med reactions, anything. I know this is sort of a stupid way to go about this but I feel like I've exhausted all my options. Please help me. I am desperate. I don't know what to do.I've tried ECT but I have to go off of Lamictal and Klonopin to do it and I end up much worse off than I was before.

Any hope for treatment refractory bipolar disorder?

I have anxiety, OCD, and have trouble sleeping. I am also bulemic. I am seeing a therapist and so far it has not been working. My doctor has prescribed the following: Prestiq, Wellbutrin, Ativan, Lexapro (?), years ago I tried prozac and I think that it was making me depressed. I am currently taking Zyprexa. One of the main side effects is weight gain. I have no idea why he would prescribe a bulemic with a weight gaining medicine. I am 142 lbs. Any suggestions on medicine?
