Hello, really hoping someone can tell me some good news!I've been diagnosed with depression, OCD, anxiety/panic disorder and bipolar II. I'm 23 years old and have NO sex drive. I've been with my boyfriend for over 3 years now, and the first year was great (no libido problems). But I guess around the 1 year mark was when I first starting seeing symptoms of my mental illnesses, and my sex drive completely vanished. Needless to say, it's taking a toll on my relationship. I tried to just suck it up and have sex with my boyfriend to keep him satisfied, but it got to the point where it starting hurting and the thought of having sex made me want to run out the door.About a year ago, I started taking Prozac and Klonopin. I was on 80mg/day of Prozac until about 1.5 weeks ago. I have gotten down to 0.5mg of Klonopin before bed, from 2.0mg. I told my doctor about the low sex drive, and he switched me to Wellbutrin XR and Lamictal. I've been on this now for 8 days. I'm taking 300mg of Wellbutrin XL, and 50mg of Lamictal. I'm not expecting my sex drive to come back immediately. My doctor said that Prozac can take 4-6 weeks to completely get out of your system. But I've read reviews about Wellbutrin and people are raving about their increase in libido.Does anyone know how common this is? I am desperate to get my sex drive to what it was 2 years ago.I've also read that Lamictal can decrease sex drive... I hope they don't cancel each other out?!I'm still taking the 0.5mg of Klonopin at night, as well as birth control pills (Apri) in the morning.After reading all of this info, can anyone help me out with any related experiences?! I'm really starting to lose hope :( I've even started to look into ExtenZe for women, which I highly doubt works because nothing has been FDA approved to increase a woman's libido.Please help!Thank you :)



Wellbutrin, Lamictal and Sex Drive?

I have been off of my anti depressant medication for about 3 months now. Unfortunately it is because my insurance ran out. So now I am feeling really overwhelmed by life and all that I am going through right now and really need my meds. I was able to get one in a generic form for $4 at Wal-Mart, but the other two Wellbutrin XL and Abilify are so outrageously expensive that I can't afford to get them. I have no income right now, but I really really need these medicines. My Doctor prescribed them, but is no help as to how I am going to get them. Please. Anyone know what I can do quickly?



How do I get my medication at a discount or for free even?

I have been going to the same pharmacy for years and I’ve never had a problem – up until last month. I have been taking Wellbutrin SR for the past 5 years. My doctor called in a refill for the Wellbutrin SR. I picked it up at the pharmacy, but when I got home it was the wrong prescription. The pharmacist had given me Wellbutrin XL instead of the SR. I figured that it was just an honest mistake – so I went back to the pharmacy and told them that they had given me the wrong prescription. The pharmacist told me that it’s not the wrong one, but she had just changed it to the XL because you only have to take it once a day and she thought it would be better for me. I told her that there was a reason that I was on the SR and after arguing back and forth for a while she finally agreed to give me the SR. At that point I figured I would just let it go.However, when I went to the pharmacy this month, once again, they had given me the XL instead of the SR. I immediately told the clerk that this was the wrong prescription. I explained what had happened last month and she went to check the computer. She said the reason that they had filled the prescription for the XL was because I didn’t have any refills on the SR. She told me that they could not just transfer refills from the XL to the SR – but the pharmacist was the one who had changed the whole prescription in the first place without any permission from my doctor.So, I had to call my doctors office and get them involved. My doctor was pretty upset – she called the pharmacy, but the pharmacist wasn’t there – so she told the clerk that they were not supposed to change my prescription. It’s not up to them to make the call as to what they think would be better for me. She has never prescribed the XL for me; only the SR!My question is, can I report this pharmacist? Do you know who I can report it to? This can’t be legal – and I don’t want to see it happen to myself of anyone else again. What if I would have taken the XL and had a bad reaction? It just doesn’t seem right to me…Does anyone know of any action that I can take?

My doctor prescribed Seroquel for me to help with the Wellbutrin XL that I've been on for the past 18 months (it's not as effective as before). I take the Wellbutrin at 9 am and I was told to take the Seroquel at "bedtime" Should I take it immediately before going to sleep or earlier in the evening? I asked the pharmacist and he told me to do whatever I prefer! What will work the best so I can function in the morning?Thanks



When do I take Seroquel XR?

I've been using some pills recreationally lately. I"ll say right now that I don't want to hear your shit about how wrong that is or anything like that. I'm fully aware of what I'm doing and I don't care, so please leave me alone.Anyway, they seem to have almost no effect on me! whats with that?I took 60mg of focalin with almost no effect! I started with 20mg orally then half hour later as it had little effect, I got another 20mg via insufflation in addition to another 20mg orally, bringing me to 60. I felt almost no effect. Since this stuff is basically Ritalin, I really should've felt something by then.Also I took 1.5 vicoden tablets (not sure of dosage) orally in addition to half a tablet insufflated. I got pretty much no effect. My friend did the exact same thing the night before and got a very intense effect.It's worth saying that I do know the pills are legit. They are the real tablets, not a placebo or an alternate pill or anything of that nature.I started taking Wellbutrin XL 150mg daily about 6 weeks ago, could that be causing this somehow?



am I immune to psychoactives or something?? could this be cause by wellbutrin?

I take 2 different kinds of Wellbutrin, one is 300mg, HCI, one is 150 mg xl, (for depression) I take metapropol (blood pressure) I use singuliar, and a combivent inhaler (asthma) and Xanax (very little, I only go through about 20 every 2mo) I take Ambien to help me sleep, over the counter doesn't work. I called in refills to my pharmacy a few days ago, just to be told that my insurance (medicaid) is no longer going to cover ANY of them. I am laid off work, and my husband was hurt so we have NO income. How can they just refuse to no longer pay for my meds? I have a co-pay on some, and obviously I comply. I do know that it isn't healthy to just stop taking anti-depressants, most people even have to be weined off of them, and I am losing everything. What can I do? All my meds are very beneficial for me to live a healthy life, both mentally and physically. I am open for ideas and suggestions. Someone told me that there are forms that I can get, or that my Dr. can obtain from the Mfg. Companies of my meds, and based on my income, I may qualify to receive these at little or no cost. I am just at a complete awe about this, I am really worried about what I am going to do......



I am about to loose all of my meds, what can I do?

I have had lifelong difficulties concentrating and completing tasks. I am always daydreaming to the point where I visualize situations all the time and talk out loud the words I would be saying in those situations. I forget things all the time... my cell phone, keys, everything to the point where it annoys my friends. my house is a mess and I am so overwhelmed because I can't even keep to a schedule about doing everything it will take to clean it up. I always am twirling and twisting my hair to the point where I've ruined its curly structure and it's frizzy and wavy now. I have difficulty committing to anything from work to attending classes to appointments. my grades are terrible and I'm ending my junior year in college, even though I'm really intelligent, I write extremely well and I got a 2100 on my SATs. and it's very evident from conversation that I'm intellectually apt, everyone's been telling me I'm smart and well above the average since childhood. I've been on the anti-depressant Wellbutrin XL 150 mg, since I have had 5 years of chronic depression. It's helping in terms of energy levels and being alert, and has increased my attention span... but not with all the other things.My psychiatrist has referred me to get tested for ADD and I am next week, I just don't know what to expect. even if I do get diagnosed with it and I get prescribed, I am worried about possible interactions with the Wellbutrin.any insight would be much appreciated.

My 14 year old is on wellbutrin XL 300 mg once per day. She lately has been missing does for a week then going back on and then missing for a few days and going back on...She seems different..We havent talked to our physician but I am going to. In the mean time what can this cause? If anything?

moms side and my dads side of the family. Obviously life can cause any of us to have some really bad days, but mine don't go away. I am on Wellbutrin XL 300mg, and Wellbutrin HCL 150mg XL, and although I know it helps, I still have days where I feel I just can't cope. I am withdrawn, sad, I get overwhelmed very easily, and don't want to continue to live this way. I don't use drugs or alcohol for an escape, in fact don't do at all. What now? What else can I do?
