Sure enough, you lost 5 pounds! You're thrilled to have this knowledge before you head out to your favorite restaurant. This calls for a bit of a binge.
Think again. That easy 5-pound weight loss isn't really a fat loss after all. What you lost was water all the sweat from that exercise at the gym. And because it was water your body needs, you will eventually get it back along with the "lost" 5 pounds on the scale.
