I need help improving my weight and height and physical appearance.?

I was taking Wellbutrin XL then switched to Zoloft for about 2 years. About 4 months ago I lost my job. So I lowered my dosage like the doc said to get myself off of them, I ran out about a month ago. One day last week I was on the computer and seen a story about St. John's Wort helping people with depression. I really needed something, I was crying everyday. So I bought some. I've been taking it for about 4 days but today I feel "more" bloated than normal. Can I take water pills while takeing this. The article also said that it cleans out you liver (i think) so anything else that you take is flushed out. I'm also trying to lose weight the natural way. The article also said that could help with mild depression. Any information will be helpful. Thanks

St. John's Wort w/ water pills?

i just went to the doctors to start medication for my ADD, and i'm a little shocked that he prescribed me wellbutrin. that's an anti-depressant, and i use to take anti-depressants, but they only made my ADD more severe. is wellbutrin different? should i depend on this drug? btw, the other anti-depressant i use to take was abilify and it made me gain about 15lbs in 2 months until i stopped taking them. my weight dropped naturally back when i stopped taking abilify. i don't want to gain weight with no medication, does wellbutrin make you gain or lose weight? i hear it makes you lose weight, but i'm just double checking. nobody likes gaining weight so, does anyone have any experience with this drug and major side-effects? i'm 5ft4 115lbs and adding weight makes me look strange to myself, but the main thing, will wellbutrin help me concentrate and finally pay attention and stop impulsivity?

is wellbutrin suitable for ADD?

Ok, I'm 14 years old and am overweight. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin SR, and i heard that it can cause weight loss. I really want to lose weight and i think a combination of taking the meds, eating right, and exercise will help me lose weight a little faster. Anyway, my questions to you are:1. Have you taken Wellbutrin SR?2. Did it work for you?3. Did you lose weight?4. How long have you been taking it?5. What other side effects did it cause?6. Overall, are you satisfied with it? Anyone's input is appreciated, I just need information. The stuff on the medical websites is helpful, but i want to hear about people's experiences with it. Please feel free to tell me any additional info you have about it.

Has anyone ever taken Wellbutrin SR? PLEASE ANSWER.?

I am 28 and have always had severe depression and anxiety. After my Grandpa passed away in 1994 i began to cry all the time, stay awake thinking about death and being afraid of dying. I became angry about everything and hated doing anything. I hated going to work, I was afraid of going to work, afraid of socializing with people. I finally went to a doctor in 2005 and was put on Celexa. I took it for 2 years and felt better but finally the crying spells came back and I realised I had gained over 30lbs. I went off the medication and the withdrawl was terrible, headaches, nausea, increased anxiety, intense fear, horrible dreams, etc. My doctor then tried me on wellbutrin and that was a nightmare. I managed to lose 7lbs in a week, but had terrible crying spells, wanted to die, had the shakes all day, intense fear and anxiety, flu like symptoms. The doctor told me to get off it immediately. For a week after i still had shakes and crying spells. So he switched me to Cymbalta, same bad effects. Crying spells are worse, i wake up in the morning with intense fear and shakiness. I went off that and have been on Sam-e, Fish oil, and a multi vitamin for 2 weeks now. I'm still scared about everything, i'm afraid of aging and dying, i'm scared because i'm single and can't find anyone. I cry every night and am more terrified than ever of going to work. I hate my job but i'm so broke cuz all these doctor visits and expensive medications. I have no health insurance and I can't afford to keep going to the doctor and all the meds make me gain weight and feel even worse. I'm still trying to lose the 30lbs I gained and after 3 months of working out and dieting i've still not lost a pound and gained back what i lost on the wellbutrin. I'm really scared and sad that there is nothing left i can take that doesn't have bad side effects. I don't want to be on drugs at all. Is there anything I can do to stop this anxiety and depression without medication. I'm not on anything except the natural stuff and i still feel shaky, anxious, and sad. I work as a surgical assistant and i cannot take meds that make me sick or i will shake and not be able to work. I work for an eagle eyed doctor who notices everything and I will get fired if I take anything that has bad side effects. Please help!I also would like to mention i still take klonopin and xanax but it doesn't seem to help. The xanax makes me tired and when i wake up after taking it i feel like i have a hangover. I've just started Klonopin and i don't notice much of a difference. I am on the smallest doses of each. I also find that the only think i enjoy doing is shopping, so rewarding myself with something i want only makes me happy for a day or so and my friends and family are calling me a hoarder cuz I have so much stuffI also was seeing a therapist for a year, it cost $75 bucks a week and the only one in my area with a sliding fee scale was 45 minutes away and i'm terrified of driving. I also don't want to gain weight, i used to be so thin and pretty and all the SSRI's and other antidepressants make you gain weight. Ive been to many doctors for my thyroid, hormones and metabolism, all agreed after many tests it was the antidepressants that caused me to gain weight. I'm going to be depressed if i take an antidepressant and gain weight. I work out very hard now, 5 days a week, plus jog and walk daily and 1500 calories a day, i still cant lose a pound and my trainer doesnt even understandI also was seeing a therapist for a year, it cost $75 bucks a week and the only one in my area with a sliding fee scale was 45 minutes away and i'm terrified of driving. I am very depressed and have tried all the medications, is there a way to treat this without drugs?

I'm about to begin my senior year, and I would like to be able to attend the Senior Ball at the end of the school year. I didn't attend the Junior Prom because I am extremely self-conscious about my weight, so this is a very important goal for me. I am currently around 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 9, and I weigh an embarrassing 259 pounds. On a side note, I am taking Wellbutrin XL for depression (I take 450 mg daily. I've been taking it for roughly three months), and Adderall XR for ADHD (I only started taking Adderall about a week ago, and I'm still trying to find the right dosage. I'm moving from 10 mg daily to 20 mg daily tomorrow, and I will continue raising the dosage until I find the proper amount for my ADHD.) The Wellbutrin had a fairly extreme affect on my appetite during the first week or so after increasing my dosage to 450 mg, which has more or less gone away. The Adderall, however, completely kills my appetite. I feel comfortable/content missing breakfast and lunch everyday, and I usually don't feel hungry until it's time for dinner. Please note that I am not taking Adderall to lose weight - I am taking it because I have ADHD. My first question is this: Can I lose 120 pounds in eight to nine months just by taking my Adderall and eating healthy foods when I do get hungry, or will the appetite suppression wear off the longer I'm on the medication? As far as exercise goes, I plan to start going on walks and riding my bike everyday. I don't have the money to go to a gym, and I don't own any exercise equipment, so walking and riding my bike are pretty much my only options. My main questions are: Will I be able to lose 120 pounds in eight to nine months by eating healthy, exercising (in the way I previously mentioned) and taking my Adderall? Is it possible that I could lose the weight in less than eight to nine months?I'm sorry this is SO long, and I am eternally grateful to anyone who takes the time to read this and help me out. Thanks so much. :)

How can I lose 120 pounds in eight to nine months?

I am contemplating going off my birth control, the NuvaRing.I am no longer sexually active and am not going to be, so I don't need to be on it for pregnancy reasons.I am just wondering if it's a good idea since it will change my hormones to go off of it. I am also on Lamictal 200mgs, Klonopin 2mgs, and Wellbutrin XL 150mgs.I went on the NuvaRing because my doctor said it wouldn't be processed in the same way my oral meds are. Anyway, I didn't notice any weight gain. That's because I eat healthy. But my weight plateaued. I've heard that once you go on BC you may not gain weight, but it's harder to lose weight. So I'm wondering if it's smart to go off the NuvaRing because I'm not having sex but I'm afraid that it will affect my other meds because of the hormones. But I am also wondering if I will lose weight if I go off it.Help!

Should I go off my birth control?

I was just wondering if anyone has taken a wellbutrin/ritalin combo for depression/adhd? I'm 32 and have been on wellbutrin for a while, and will be adding ritalin to it today. What was it like? Also, did you lose weight? I'm working out 7 hours a week and eating much less, so I'm already losing, but I'm just curious if the combo helped you lose, also.

Experience with wellbutrin and ritalin?

Does Wellbutrin help you quit smoking/weight loss?

Here are my symptoms:-I have an obsessive and irrational fear of gaining weight and becoming obese. If I weigh myself and note that I have gained weight, even if it's just two or three pounds, I have a panic attack. (Which is why I stopped weighing myself.) This fear goes back as far as age 8. I don't remember a time in my life when gaining weight didn't bother me. Also, I do not like being seen in public with overweight people. I have no rational reasoning for this and feel like an extremely terrible person for this.-I frequently starve myself for extended periods of time. It's commonplace for me to go two or three or four days without eating anything. When I began starving myself, about three years ago, it was on purpose so I wouldn't gain weight and I went for much longer. Once I passed out because I hadn't eaten in roughly two weeks. Now, I mainly don't eat because it slips my mind since my hunger sense is basically shot and doesn't kick in until I haven't eaten for a couple of days. -After days of self-starvation, usually when I'm alone, I will engage in binge-eating. I begin to eat and then it's like I can't stop myself. I keep eating and eating as if I'll never eat again and I can't control it. I tell myself to stop, but I won't until I'm full to the point that my stomach hurts and feels like I'm going to throw up. I never throw anything up though. There have been two instances in my life in which I threw up after a binge, but I haven't in at least two years. After a binge I'll typically feel guilty about it and think that I've instantly become obese, and thus I'll engage in starving myself for a few days to try and lose the weight I feel like I've gained. I will feel depressed for a few hours following a binge (I also have dysthymic disorder, but am on Wellbutrin. The depressive symptoms never last more than a few hours when I'm medicated. Originally, I thought the lack of appetite was a symptom of depression, but after getting "better" the eating problems remained.)-If I do weigh myself, I will set weight goals for myself, but in all honesty, I'm never thin enough. For instance, I will say "Everything will be fine and dandy if I weigh 103LBS." Then I'll get down to 103 and think "You know, this is good, but 100 would be better." And then it keeps getting less and less. Therefore, I've stopped weighing myself so I can't really set goals.Other information that may be important:-I used to engage in self-injurious behaviour such as cutting and burning. This was five years of my life. -I've been hospitalized for a suicide attempt.-I've been on three different types of anti-depressants.-My father left when I was six and I've suffered abandonment issues ever since.-As a child I was an extreme perfectionist. I tried so hard to please everyone and be the perfect child because I felt nobody would like me if I had flaws. Today, I'm not a perfectionist as such, but I do try really hard to keep everyone around me happy even if it's making me miserable.-My mother has been hospitalized for depression and eating disorders in her past. Often as a child I would hear her talking about how she HAD to lose weight, so I guess I always associated weight as being bad. I've been reading up on Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosaa nd found that each has two sub-types. Anorexia has restrictive and binge-eating; Bulimia has purging and non-purging. Binge-eating Anorexia and Non-purging Bulimia seem to me to be exactly the same and now I'm all confused as to which best suites my situation. Could anybody possibly help me with this?

Binge-Eating Anorexia or Non-Purging Bulimia?

plain and simple, will i lose weight and how long will it take?
