What are over-the-counter pills you can and should not snort?

I am 17 weeks pregnant. I was on Paxil before I got pregnant and when I found out a 4 weeks pregnant I quit cold turkey. Ever since then I have been extremely moody, angry, short tempered, emotional and and VERY depressed. This should be a happy time for me. At my appointment yesterday my OB/GYN prescribed me 150mg Wellbutirn XL a day. I have found inconclusive information on wether it is safe during pregnancy. My Doctor insists that is is one of the safest I can be on. I have read other things like, that you need to breastfeed after (which I want to) so the baby wont have withdrawls, and then I have dont breastfeed at all or get off the med. Which I WANT TO breastfeed. Has anyone else taken Wellbutrin while pregnant?? Are your children healthy?? Anyone have complications with Wellbutrin during pregnancy??My delemah here is that I have tried for the first 4 months to help my depression, (I took nothing for the first 4 months, my last appointment and blood work has all come back healthy and the ultrasound showed healthy weight and no abnormalities)with no success. If I am stressed out and angry, Increased Bloodpressure ALL THE TIME, that cant be good for the baby either, and of course if I am dead, that is obviously not good.



Is wellbutrin XL safe during pregnancy? And breastfeeding?

I have been taking Wellbutrin xl for 6 months now. It helped at first, but pooped out on me in a BIG way. Im back to sleeping all the time, mising appointments, locking myself up in my apartment, not answering my phone or returning phone calls. I have no motivation, and I dont want to be touched or have sex at all. These are the things that I was doing during my many severe bouts of depression. Where is the energy and refreshed feeling that I keep hearing about? After doing soem research on the internet I came across some information that stated that although in theory Wellbutrin sr and xl are supposed to be exactly the same, according to majority of people who tried both, the sr version worked much better than the xl. I was switched to the sr version today, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it works better. Im getting desperate. I think it has to do with the fact that the sr is released over 12 hours as opposed to the xl 24 hours. more in blood stream at one time.



Has anyone taken both Wellbutrin sr and Wellbutrin xl? Which one was better?

I was prescribed it for short-term use and the doctor told me to call his office for instructions when I decide I want to stop taking it. I will call his office when I get a chance, but I was just wondering if someone might be able to give me some information. Thanks.



What is the proper way to wean off of Wellbutrin XL 150mg?

I've been taking wellbutrin xl at 150 mg for about a month now, and its going pretty well except for the anxiety (which sucks because i have g.a.d. and had panic disorder), but anyways, Ive read stuff online about how it causes siezures and someone even said that they stopped taking it so they could drink alcohol because that causes seizures while on wellbutrin. I wanted to know if this information is true or hear people's experiences with these meds.



Wellbutrin XL side effects..?

I am 27 and I am taking Wellbutrin XL for depression and ADHD. I don't really think that Wellbutrin is the medication for me so the doctor thought that I should switch. Before putting me on a stimulant they said that I had to have my regular doctor do a EKG. When I picked up the results from my regular doctor's nurse she said that everything was fine and normal for a person my age. Long story short, I am almost 100 pounds over weight and heart problems run in my family. I don't feel anything wrong with my heart, but today when I followed up with the therapist she said that my results clearly said on the top of the graph that it was abnormal. I am confused. Any ideas/advice? My therapist said she would not switch my medication until I got further information from my regular doctor.



Abnormal EKG???

Lately I've been feeling more anxious than usual. I am currently taking Wellbutrin XL (300 MG), Effexor ER (150 MG), and Ativan (1 MG). I really don't want to up the MG of any of the perscription drugs. I was thinking an herbal supplement maybe to take the edge off a little bit. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!I won't be reporting anyone.....ALL answers are welcome.
