My doctor has perscribed me 150mg of Wellbutrin XL 1x a day.I started taking it a couple weeks ago and only took it for 3 days because I felt groggy and just blah. And I also found it was increasing my anxiety. So I stopped. I went to see a counselor at my doctors office and she said to give it a try again. So I started it again... Ive been back on it for just over a week now and i guess the "blah" feeling has kinda gone away. But I still feel like my anxiety is increased.Ive been googling EVERYTHINGGG on the pills! and am constantly reading about them. Ive read that they CAN increase your anxiety. Ive read people's comments saying its eventually can go away. Ive read some where people say they STILL have the bad anxiety after going off the pills.I just dont know what to do or how long I should give them a chance for.Im in a long distance relationship and ive felt like it hasent been going good the last couple weeks, and its to the point now my boyfriend is kinda at the point where hes had enough. hes said im not acting like myself AT ALL! Iv been suffering from Anxiety for about 2 years now. The Anxiety is causing me to stress about it, Im stressed all the time thinking something bad is going to happen to me. All the stress is now building up to Acid Reflux. I get it so bad the it feels like its almost coming out my mouth, I cant breath im in horrible pain and it freaks me right out making it worse. I don't sleep anymore. I cant do things i use to do like hike up a mountain or even go for a jog i get tired out and pain in the chest almost right away. Anyone suffer from this and have any helpful tips. I also just started using an antidepressant called Wellbutrin XL 5 days ago. Anyways to forget about my Anxiety so its goes away and i think if i can stop that and stress the acid reflux will go away. Im just 21 and want to live my life better then thiswill working out, lifting weights and hitting a punching bag make this go away, i did all this a year ago when i was in college

I have anxiety really bad. I do not have health insurance! When I did, the tried me on Wellbutrin, and a handful of other drugs I had a bad reaction to. Zanex worked great for me, but, ya know, doctors don't write Zanex scripts for people who ACTUALLY need it. I take a sleeping pill in the am and in the afternoon, and it isn't working anymore. I am fearful I will lose my job. IF you have anxiety, you can relate. What else can I do to feel..."normal"? Desperate, broke, and shaky!

I was just recently discharged from the military because of Anxiety. i only made it up to week 2. Im finally back home and i went back on Wellbutrin and Zoloft. I know it takes a while for these medications to build up in your system but for some reason i keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking im still in basic training. Is this normal??? or will it go away when my meds kick in?? please help



Please Help Anxiety/Sleeping Problem??

My husband has always dealt with anxiety but has been off meds. for awhile now. Recently a friend has mentioned the med. wellbutrin to him, so he mentioned it to his doctor. His doctor agreed they will give it a shot. Today was his first day taking it and it made his skin feel sensitive he developed a headache and of course made him a little sleepy. The side effects listed on the medication paper's say these are common side effects. It also say's do not take if the patient has had a past of epilepsy- well he has even though he has not had a seizure in almost six years. His doctor is out until tuesday of next week but he feel's he really need's to take this medication due to some personal issue's (the reason why he got on it). Has anyone taken this before with the same problem's or might know if this will be okay with his past of epilepsy, any advice beside's the obvious (stop taking it) will definently help us out. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer to those who will.Does anybody know anything about any of this?

how did or does paxil work for you?

I am 5 wks pregnant, and i have to get off paxil and ativan. Im staying on wellbutrin for the time being.I went from 60 to 20 this week on paxil, and instead of 3 or 4 ativans a day, im taking 2. I wanted to be only taking ONE ativan a day by now, but god, this afternoon I had sooo much anxiety again. I dont know if its from weaning off the paxil or if its just the stress of knowing I HAVE to get off these meds, I DO NOT want Anything wrong with my baby!! BUt shit, when I feel like that, i just cant take it, i feel not normal and nervous and like im going crazy. Im hoping the prego hormones kick in and theyre good ones. What am I gonna do!!!! I NEED to get off ativan. Were moving back home in a month and i know that will help, and getting back to work. How can I get off ativan in the next week?? I have some homeopathic stuff called rescue relief, but not really working yet. UGHHH... I am so torn between me and baby, I want us to both be good.

I am actually taking it to try to stop smoking, but I also have a bit of depression and anxiety so I'm hoping that a happy side effect will be some allieviation of that.I know many people are anti-wellbutrin, and many people think it's a godsend. I'm not interested in those types of opinions really, since I've already read a lot of them.What I want to know is, since the effects are so unpredictable, do I need to take it on a weekend? What is the first thing I might notice after taking my first dose? And finally, has it helped any of you quit smoking, side effects aside?



What precautions should I take before starting Wellbutrin?

I was recently prescribed Wellbutrin 150 mg one time a day along with Xanax. 5 mg a half in the morning, noon, and dinner along with 1 mg at night to help sleep. I've had anxiety/depression since birth and was wondering if anyone else was prescribed the same? How well did these work? How long to feel the full effects of both medications? And we're you able to manage mood swings, panic attacks, and help with deep dark never get out of bed depression? Any thoughts, advice, negative/positive experiences are greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much hoping these meds will get my life back in order from my terrible mental disorders.
