I am going to have to come off Wellbutrin soon?

I have recently ordered medication from 4RX.com. How do I know a website is not taking a chance and sending me a placebo? What has me worried is that on my credit card statement the transaction went off as "hair2go" and not as 4RX. I did not order hair products... I ordered Wellbutrin which I have used before.

antidepressant self withdrawal PLEASE HELP!?

I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second baby and for about 2 months I've been having trouble breathing. I have to frequently take deep breaths and sometimes after taking several, I still do not feel like I got the refreshing breath of air I needed. I visited my family doctor and discussed the problems I was having. She mentioned that it could be Asthma or even allergies. She gave me a prescription for the generic form of Claritin (for the allergies) and told me to check with my OB about taking a Pulmonary Function Test (due to use of an inhaler during the test). My OB gave the go ahead and I took the test today. I'm really frustrated with how things went and I need some advice on what to do. First of all, she told me that the results of the PFT were inaccurate and explains that it is usually due to the lack of "coaching" from the test administrator (nurse). Then she goes on to say that she was able to get some results from the test and that I have Asthma. After telling me she is going to write me a prescription for an inhaler, I told her that I did not feel any better after taking the inhaler during the test. I asked if the prescription would be for the same thing, and she said it was. Then she goes on to say that if the inhaler didn't work I must be suffering from anxiety and tells me she is going to write me a prescription for Wellbutrin (but wants me to check with my OB on that one too). Now this one boggles my mind. I told her that I didn't really understand what anxiety was. As she was explaining it to me she started talking about how there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of (okay???) and how stress can have this affect on people. Now let me tell you, I am probably one of the least stressed people in this world and I feel very blessed to have it that way. And, even when I am stressed I feel that I handle it very well. On top of that I'm a pretty easy going happy-go-lucky type of person. I am a stay at home mom with a 20 month old daughter and I have a pretty laid back life. If anything I would say that it's more boring than anything lol. Yes, I have one on the way, but I feel way more comfortable with this one having went through it before than I did with my first baby. I have a stable life and a great husband (most of the time lol) that loves me more than anyone in the world. I just don't understand where the anxiety would come in.To sum it all up I have a prescription for Claritin because the allergies are causing these problems (which she told me to continue taking but IMO hasn't made a difference), I have a prescription for an inhaler because it's Asthma that is causing these problems and now she wants to write me a script for Wellbutrin because it must be anxiety. I am the type of person that takes medicine as a last resort. I just don't like to do it especially during pregnancy. On top of that I put doctors in the same category as mechanics, I don't mean any disrespect but I just have a hard time trusting them. It seems like she gave me a prescription for everything it COULD be. But has no clue what it actually is. I don't know what to do. I'm probably not going to take the Wellbutrin though. From what I read online it's mainly prescribed for depression and to help stop smoking. I don't think pregnancy is the time to start taking a serious drug like this. I'll probably stop taking the Claritin because it seems to have made no difference. What do I do? How can I get to the bottom of my problem? Has anything like this happened to you?

Breathing problems only 9 1/2 weeks, three different diagnoses, please help (long story)?

Okay, so my boyfriend is in the military and currently in Iraq. Well he came home for his R&R on April fifth and left on the 21st and yes we had sex. I'm seventeen and I think I may be pregnant...I'm late for my period and there was two times I think where we forgot to use a condom and there was one where the condom broke...Now I'm bipolar and take two different medications...I read up on one and some of the articles said that it can cause birth defects. I have not yet told my mother and i don't plan on telling her until I know for sure if I am pregnant...I take a generic for Wellbutrin that is called Bupropion (100mg) by mouth every morning and I take a generic for Depakote called Divalproex (500mg) by mouth after dinner. I heard that the Depakote could cause birth defects, I have not yet read up on Wellbutrin but I would like some information on both of them. Also, I have recently had staff infection in four places at one time and I got those taken care of and now I have it again, so I went to the emergency room for one of the four ones and the doctor gave me a pain killer called Hydrocodone. The bottle says it's Hydrocodone-APAP 5-500 and it also says its a generic for Lortab 5-500. I'm not so sure what that means but anyways...The ninth and the tenth of this month I have taken one each day for pain, if I take this for my pain can it cause defects? I also read up on this and many people said that it can't.Again I'm not even sure if I'm pregnant but if I am then I want to make sure the baby will be healthy...And I really don't want people to tell me that I'm "too young to be having sex" or that I shouldn't have done it or whatever, because I've already done it and I can't take it back...so please just help me with this.

Pregnancy and certain medications?

I've been on Wellbutrin for nine years, both generic and brand name, regular and SR, between 150mg to 300mg a day. The past few years it's felt like it's become less effective (I've been taking generic for cost reasons) and the side-effects have gotten worse, especially a ringing in my ears. Is there a drug chemically similar to Wellbutrin on the market? I tried two SSRIs last year -- Zoloft and Lexapro -- both of which had me sleeping 16 hours a day with no discernible benefit, so I've pretty much stayed away from that class of anti-depressant. I'm thinking I may need to up my dose and get back on the brand name Wellbutrin for it to start working again; the generic at 300mg made me too skittish, but anything lower than that seems to have little therapeutic effect. Naturally I'm going to discuss this with my doctor and I realize everyone has different reactions to these drugs, I just wanted to hear opinions and experiences to see what might work for me.

Replacement for Wellbutrin?

I have read don't take it if you are breastfeeding. My daughter is 6 weeks old and the DR. prescribed this to me for postpartum depression. I am very hesitant to take it because I don't know what the possible side effects would be on her. I don't want to take anything that can hurt her, and i need to get better. Anyone who has breastfed while taking this or the generic form? I need to know if the benefits outweigh the risks.

How will Wellbutrin affect my breastfed newborn?

I am now on Wellbutrin (generic), and have had major rage. Especially when I'm driving and someone cuts me off or doesn't use their blinker. I was wondering if rage is one side effect from wellbutrin. And I have been on this drug for two weeks now. My dr said it takes 2 weeks for my body to get it in my system. Are there any websites that can help me info about Wellbutrin?I have been on it for two weeks, and this is the third med to try. It's always two weeks, and then that's how my brain is going to work with the meds. But this is after the initial two weeks, and my rage is more than ever. I just called my dr, left a message for the nurse, and we'll see what she says. Thanks for the advice, i have googled, etc wellbutrin, but no sites yet have helped me out.

What are the most common side effects from taking Wellbutrin?

Ok guys, I see my doctor tomorrow.I have always had trouble with anxiety and its just getting worse. Right now my doctor prescribes me Suboxone for a past drug addiction. I know he will not write me xanax or any other benzo because of that NOR DO I WANT HIM TO. I have been on benzos before and they only make dealing with anxiety even more difficult in the long run.The only other option I know of for anxiety is the SSRI's and Buspar. I have tried ALL of these except for cymbalta and effexor. SSRI's ALWAYS make my anxiety worse. The medication i have taken that is similar to cymbalta/effexor is wellbutrin, I do not react well to antidepressants that work on norepinephrine, they give me earth shattering panic attacks!I have also tried beta blockers like Inderal for the physical aspects and it does not help either plus I don't like the side effects.I really do not know what options are left, I have tried literally everything. and before you say therapy, I have been in therapy for 8 years, I am still going and it's not helping at all. I may lose my job if I don't figure out something quick! My doctor will probably write me anything that has no addiction potential, so please shoot any suggestions my way. as of right now I am considering Effexor (because it has a generic and thus cheaper than cymbalta) and Remeron as I have read it is ok for anxiety even though it has the nasty side effects of the tricyclics.THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCEplease real answers, not colon cleansing spam ____

HELP! anxiety medication suggestions? (no benzos!) 10 points!!!?

My dr prescribed Wellbutrin XL. My insurance co. approved it. My pharmacy however has given me Budeprion one month and Bupropion the next. Why don't they just give me what the Dr. Prescribed and ins. co approved? Is there a difference in taking a generic instead of name brand?

why is my pharmacy giving me a generic instead of the brand name?

and irritable, I really don't like the way I feel and I just wanna know if you think I should stay on it. The Dr. also gave me Buspar which is an anti anxiety drug but that takes a few weeks to kick in...what should I do? I heard wellbutrin can make you anxious but this is ridiculous! Should I stop taking it????
