Fat Burning Workouts - Great Exercise Ideas for Blasting Fat

While you may already have a workout routine that you're using, it's easy to get to comfortable with it and limiting your progress by doing the same things over and over. You just need to learn how to make a few changes that can rev up your exercise sessions so that you can burn the maximum amount of calories and therefore "burn the fat".

On The TreadmillIf you're already using the treadmill you're in luck because I can give you a few tips on how to boost your results with it. First try kicking up the speed. You shouldn't use the same speed every time your on the treadmill because your body gets used to the same speed and you'll find that your metabolism won't be increased post workout. Make it more challenging by adding bursts of speed. Another thing you can do is to try new positions like walking backwards or sideways which will challenge your muscles in ways it they haven't been before. Also be sure you are squeezing your glutes through the exercises and tightening your stomach muscles. Add these variations to your treadmill workouts and you will increase the calories your burn and thus elevate your fat burning as well.
On The Elliptical TrainerIt's easy to go on autopilot when using this machine but if you want to burn the fat your going to need to implement some alterations. First, try using the machine in intervals. Keep a steady pace for a couple of minutes then add in 60 seconds faster movement which will increase the calorie burn. Also, make sure you are using your entire body so that you work all the muscle groups.
The Stair StepperThe stair stepper is great for burning calories but you can increase it's effectiveness by being sure that you are standing straight and upright while doing it. Also mixing up your stepping depth will also make a difference. Additionally go with a minute of slow long steps for every five minutes during your workout. Shocking the muscles like this will increase the burn. You can even add weights to change things up a bit and get still more benefits from it.
On The Weight MachinesSometimes people using weights stick to the lighter ones they start out with too long. Changing to heavier weights can have fat blasting effects though. You need to work hard on the last rep which is going to build muscle . Also be sure to minimize your down time while working out with weights and try to move from one routine to the next with a small break  ( say 60 seconds ) to keep your metabolism and heart rate going. Also try to workout as many muscle groups as you can while working out with weights which will also elevate your fat burning potential.
RunningRunning the same pace all the time won't give you the fat burning potential you can get if you change it up a little from time to time. Try running different routes, be sure you're posture is upright for  maximum stride, and even through in intervals of sprinting to blast more fat. Also you can use light weights while running to use up more calories and burn the fat to enjoy a leaner body.
